BEHIND THE LENS

I am just your average girl who loves to be behind the lens. My name is Erin J Schimmelman,I currently live in Surprise AZ,originally from CA. I am always a California girl at heart. I grew up with a love of taking pictures, I think it all started when I got my first polaroid camera when I was 8. I could always been seen with a camera in my hand, may it of been a video or still camera, but there was no doubt it was my love. I took classes in high school and college and fell in love with the dark room. I hate to say it but I would ditch my other classes just to stay in the dark room..



So, here I am now as a mother of 2 beautiful girls who are the light of my life and a step son I adore.Family is everything to me and they have been wonderful subjects for my passion. My favorite are Weddings and Portraits to any special occasions. I do prefer natural lighting, so outdoor shoots are my favorite and preferred, but are hard to do during the summers here in az.
